Who we are
Seriously Cynical is a small, independent online shop selling sarcastic, dry and pointedly honest apparel, drinkware and gifts — the sort of thing you buy for the friend who rolls their eyes professionally.
There's no marketing department here and no committee deciding what counts as funny. The shop is a one-person operation, run as a sole trader from Kalix in northern Sweden, shipping to customers worldwide.
How we actually work
We think it's only fair to tell you how the thing you're buying gets to you, so here it is without the spin:
- Our designs are our own. The slogans and artwork are created in-house for this shop.
- Products are made to order. Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting. When you place an order, the design is printed onto the item you chose — which means less waste and no unsold stock, but it does add a little production time.
- Printing and shipping is handled by established print-on-demand partners with facilities in the US, Europe, Asia and Australia. Your order is produced at whichever facility is closest to you, so it usually arrives from your own region rather than from Sweden.
- Order multiple items and they may arrive separately, from different facilities, on different days. That's a consequence of the above, not a mistake.
- Typical delivery is 2–15 days. If it's been longer than 15 days, email us and we'll chase it.
If something goes wrong
You can return an unused, unworn item within 14 days of receiving it for a full refund of the item price. Return postage is on you unless the item arrived faulty, damaged, or wasn't what you ordered — in which case it's on us. If an item turns up faulty or damaged, email us a photo and we'll put it right without making you jump through hoops.
